Current musicians, alumni, family, friends, community members and others are invited to play holiday favourites with us. Please arrive at 8:45AM to pick up your music and rehearsal starts at 9AM. Invite your family and friends to join us for the concert at 11:30AM. Please PAY WHAT YOU CAN at the door and bring some non-perishable food items for Community Care.

Step into an afternoon where mystery meets musical mastery. The Symphonic Orchestra of the Niagara Youth Orchestra invites you to Unfinished Business, a dynamic program built around works that continue to inspire wonder—finished or not.

Featuring:

Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony — a legendary work of beauty, emotion, and unanswered questions
Rossini’s electrifying La gazza ladra Overture — a fireworks display of energy and precision
Sibelius’s powerful Finlandia — a stirring anthem of resilience and national spirit

Enjoy LIVE music, a FUN Trivia with emcee Brian Salmon from 91. 7 GIANTFM morning show and support the orchestra by purchasing items from our Silent Auction. A cash bar for food and drink will be open as you enjoy FREE snacks at your table. We encourage you to buy a table of 8 in advance and don’t forget some table decor. There will be prizes for the Trivia Winners and for the BEST Table Decor! We look forward to seeing you.

If you are wishing to play your instrument with us, please arrive to the gym at 8:45am to pick up music. The rehearsal will begin at 9am and the concert will begin at 11:30am.

Entry: Cash donation and a non-perishable food item. We will be collecting for Community Cares

Hear the sounds of our local talented orchestral musicians as the Niagara Youth Orchestra takes on Rossini, Dvorak, Telemann and Khachaturian. The concert, held at Calvary Church in St. Catharines will begin at 3:30pm on November 30th and is directed by Mike van Dongen. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our Training Program and Concert Orchestra will set music to local author, Kari-Lynn Winters’ book, On the Line, read by Brian Salmon of 91.7 GiantFM.
